Bread of Life Church House Cells

On 24 March, Bishop Joe Imakando emphasised the need to belong to a cell house as it provides the chance for the church to  exercise adequate pastoral care. He read from Acts 2:42-47 with a sermon titled, 'Get Involved'.

The early church which is our model was a growing church. It was established with 120 people who met at the upper room. On the day of Pentecost, Peter preached a sermon and 3,000 people were added. In Acts 4:4, the church grew to 5,000. Acts 5:14, the church became a church of multitudes. How did they pastor the people? They had house cells (smaller groups of people who usually meet in homes), through which they were able to minister to the entire church, the people got involved in house cells. As a member of Bread Life Church you need to belong to a cell and get involved.

Bread of Life Church Cell System

With the vision of bringing thousands into the kingdom of God and feeding them with the Bread of life, Bread of Life Church International (BLCI) has put in place activities that are in line with this vision.

Blessing Centre Updates - February 2013

The Blessing CentreBy the grace of God the building project passed the 85% completion stage in 2012. During this period we completed the chapel, youth hall speaker’ lounge, cafeteria, wall fence, concrete paving of the southern car park, painting works (main auditorium, youth hall, speaker’ lounge, cafeteria, chapel, fellowship hall, hall ways etc)

Consequently, the building hosted the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia’s General Assembly and special general meeting and Prison Fellowship Zambia Conference, weddings and other functions.

We still have to complete the remaining percentage at the Blessing Centre, therefore contributions made to the house of God will fulfill the vision of bringing thousands into God's kingdom.

Galatians 6:9, 'Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.'
