Bread of Life Church International officially launched the Girl Child Ministry on Sunday 6th June 2014 at the Blessing Centre in Emmasdale.
On 24 March, Bishop Joe Imakando emphasised the need to belong to a cell house as it provides the chance for the church to exercise adequate pastoral care. He read from Acts 2:42-47 with a sermon titled, 'Get Involved'.
The early church which is our model was a growing church. It was established with 120 people who met at the upper room. On the day of Pentecost, Peter preached a sermon and 3,000 people were added. In Acts 4:4, the church grew to 5,000. Acts 5:14, the church became a church of multitudes. How did they pastor the people? They had house cells (smaller groups of people who usually meet in homes), through which they were able to minister to the entire church, the people got involved in house cells. As a member of Bread Life Church you need to belong to a cell and get involved.
With the vision of bringing thousands into the kingdom of God and feeding them with the Bread of life, Bread of Life Church International (BLCI) has put in place activities that are in line with this vision.
