Bishop Joe Imakando encouraged the congregation from Luke 2.1-7 with a message entitled, 'No Room'.

Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus because Jesus humbled himself and took the form of man. Jesus was born in a manger because there was no room for Him in the inn.

In those days, the Caesar Augustus issued a decree that the census should be taken of the entire Roman world.

Referring to the passage of scripture, Bishop Imakando mentioned that obedience is key to fulfilling God's destiny. That is why people obeyed and went to their own towns to register.  God will use people in authority, if you obey them, you will find yourselves fulfilling God's purposes in your life.

Jesus was not born in a fashionable place but in a manger. Destiny is inside you it does not matter where you are born. A place does not make you, its the people who makes a place. God is never late for His people, He has a good agenda for you. Sometimes we feel as if God does not care but He does. God has planned a right place and right time in your life. God is a God of timing.

The Bishop cautioned believers not have mass dancing or eating but to reflect on the Lord Jesus.

'As you celebrate Christmas, reflect on the Jesus the hope of glory. Jesus is knocking at the door, do you have room for Him?'

The Bishop then declared that the year 2013 will be a great year because God will fulfill your destiny.
