Written by Elizabeth Mpundu

Entering into God's Season of Productivity

Genesis 17:1-8
Mark11:12-14
When you come into God's time you enter a fruitful season
- Abraham had missed his time. God brought him into a time where everything is possible.
- God looks at His exceeding power.
- God uses covenant or impartation/ power
1. The covenant of Productivity. When God wants to suspend limitations, he establishes covenant.
- Galatians 3:9, Ephesians 2:12
- We decree that 2019 will be exceedingly provided for.
- Deuteronomy 28
- Hebrews 8:6
- The level of blessing for the new testament believer is greater.
- If you work you will receive better.
2 .The season of divine fruitfulness
- Mark11:12,14
- He brought Abraham, Zachariah and Elizabeth into a Season.
- He doesn't run out of resources, He is the many breasted one.
- This is God's Season of divine productive.
- When He has come He comes with more than time.
- Don't disqualify God with what has disqualified you. Don't limit God with what has limited you.
- It is our responsibility to produce in God's Season
- Discern the Season and do as the occasion demands.
How to enter your season;
1. Have faith as the language of the season, silence your doubt it will never speak again.
- teach yourself how to speak faith.
- Our speech must be in line with God's language.
- You are as productive as your faith.
2. Holiness- walk before God blameless.
- When God sees us holy He begins to give what he has into us.
- prayer must be at the centre.
- Prayer is the main activity of God's calendar.
3. Covenant Practices.
- covenant Practices of first fruits.

Sunday School Graduation

Written by Elizabeth Mpundu

Over 117 children graduated from Sunday School to Joshua Generation (Youth Ministry) on Wednesday 19th December 2018 at a colorful event held at the Blessing Centre in Emmasdale.

The graduation ceremony was held during the Jesus Revolution Youth Camp 2018. With host Bishop Joe Imakando, Youth and Student Ministry pastor Oscar Mumba. The conference started from 17th to 21st December 2018 at the Blessing Centre in Emmasdale.

Guest speakers included Bishop Billy Mfula, Rev. Kangwa Mumba, Pastor Gladys Paswani, Pastor Klah and Pompi.

During the graduation Bishop Joe Imakando, spoke on a message entitled,’ Model Christ,’ from 1Timothy 4:12.

How do you model Christ?

  • In what you say
  • In your conduct
  • In love
  • In a teachable spirit
  • In faith in God
  • In purity

Sometimes youths are despised because:

  • They have no experience
  • They have a poor sense of judgement
  • They are emotional
  • They are too zealous
  • They have untested ideas
  • Live in a dream world.

However, God loves youths and they have dominion and power like Jeremiah and Gideon. Youths should model Christ because they will make Him more appealing.

Seven Powerful covenants needed to take over

All human beings normally start with a relationship or an agreement. A covenant is therefore an agreement between two or more persons.
Categories of Covenants

As believers we are secure in God 's hands. Our life is his with Christ in God,therefore no power of darkness has the right to touch or harm us. Ecclesiastes 9:4
2.The covenant of victory
One of the blessings of our salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ is victory over our adversaries. Ephesians 6:12.
3.The covenant of protection
Christ is not only our Savior and Redeemer; He is also the ark of our safety, protection and Victory. Proverbs 18:10
4.The covenant of healing and health
Divine healing is your heritage as a child of God. 1 Peter 2:24
5.The covenant of provision and abundance.
From the inception of creation ,God has made resources to be available for man kind that no man on earth needs to suffer lack or poverty in life. One of Gods names is JEHOVAH JIREH,THE LORD OF ABUNDANT PROVISION.
6.The covenant of grace and mercy
Grace is the divine ability to do the unusual. Mercy provides a great platform for forgiveness of sins. You need the influence of grace and mercy to take over. 2Corinthians 9:8
7.The covenant of favor
Favor is defined as an act of kindness. Favor makes you to receive without asking. Luke 2:25.

1. Jonah prayed a desperate prayer.
- God prepared a fish to swallow Jonah
- He did the only thing that was there to do. He prayed a prayer. He knew that God is a God of Mercy and He cried out to God. He prayed a prayer of desperation.
- Even though you feel like it's over you can always cry out to God.
- God kept him alive to bring him to a point of repentance.
- He has kept you alive under normal circumstances you could have been finished. You have survived so much. He has kept you alive because he wants to answer your prayers.
- We are living in a time of desperate situation.
- God heard Jonah's prayer from the belly of the fish.

- Hezekiah prayed a desperate prayer.
- Refuse that situation, you deserve better.

- God controlled the furnace for the Hebrew boys.
How do I know that you are swallowed?
- When you swallowed you are restricted
-You are rejected
- You stagnate, no progress in life
- Nothing new ever happens to you because you are restricted.Until you are vomited you remain where are.
- Jonah prayed a powerful prayer because it was answered.

Christian Professionals Sunday

Written by Elizabeth Mpundu

By Dr. Kalasa Mwanda:

The Role of a Christian Professional in Building the Lord’s Tabernacle.
A professional is a person who is engaged or qualified in a profession.
Professionals in the bible:
A. The Apostle Paul wrote 13 books of the bible: Romans, Galatians, Ephesians, Timothy, Titus, Corinthians, Thessalonians etc.
B. Luke, the Evangelist, a disciple of Paul. Fathers of the early church ascribed to him authorship of 2 voluminous books of the New Testament: Gospel of Luke and the Acts of the Apostles – accounting for 27% of text in the New Testament
Did God choose these professionals because of their skill or they got skilled because they were chosen.
GOD DOES NOT CALL THE QUALIFIED HE QUALIFIES THE CALLED.
1 Corthians1:27-29, Jeremiah 1:5

Benefits of building the Lords Tabernacle as a professional:
Exodus 23:25-28
-He will bless our bread and water
-He will take away sickness from our midst
-There will be no miscarriage
-There will be no barrenness
-There will be no premature death
How Does a Christian Professional position themselves for greater Participation in building the “Tabernacle” in this Season?
A. Total humility - Ephesians 3:8
B. Obedience - 1Samnuei 15:22, Proverbs 21:3
-Making yourself available for kingdom tasks.

As a Christian Professional in this Season of Taking Over, and this month of pressing on:
-What has been our role in building the Lord’s Tabernacle?
-What has been our role in supporting the Ministry of His word?
-What has been our in supporting the vulnerable girl-child and the needy amongst us?
-What has been our role in evangelism and reaching out to the lost souls?

==========================================
After the morning services, the christian professionals of the Church met with Pastor Oscar Mumba and Elder Steven Mwale in the youth hall at 15:00hrs.
They were encouraged to be prayerful as believers and rise prayer altars both at home and places of business/work.

The Blessing of having Professionals in the House of God.

Professionals are people who are skilled and have expert knowledge (trained & qualified). They belong to Professional bodies affiliation – e.g. ZIM, Teaching Profession Code of Ethics (SI 1 2018), LAZ, etc.
Characteristics of professionalism
Appearance, Demeanor, Reliability, Competence, phone etiquette, etc.
Professionalism + Christianity= influential, integrity, quality & quantity of output light & salt of the earth
Professionals are from different works of life. Examples of professionals in the bible:
Paul– Tent-maker Act 18; 2-3
Luke – Physician Col 4:14
1. The example of Simon Peter
-He was a fisherman: this represents the various occupations and professions we have.
- The washing of nets
They had knocked off going home. The Lord asked Simon to perform a certain task after he had knocked off.
-Results of obedience (availability)
How can you come in as a professional?
- Participation in the ministries
•You are serving God
•You are blessing others with your skill, character, etc. as you interact.
•You demystify the notion that professionals are
unapproachable, unsociable, (they are people like you and me!)
-Avail self by offering expert knowledge in the Bread of Life Health Services, Bookshop, Building projects etc
Common excuse for not serving
I do not have time
I do not know what to do
I do not have any special skills to contribute
They do not need me. But Simon was needed…
The lord does not call the equipped, he equips the called.(Moses, David)
Benefits of Professionals in the Church
Professionals’ participation in the clinic, school – results in providing quality service at much lower cost and a greater impact on the community.
Outsiders such as NGOs and will get to see what we are doing and will begin supporting the good work being conducted.
If we get involved in our numbers (thousands), what an impact we will make on the community and the nation  at large.
