The Bishop was accompanied by Pastor (Mrs.) Bernadette Imakando, Lusaka province overseer Rev. Shedreck Chisulo and other church leaders.
Several members from the main church and Lusaka West witnessed the occasion. The event was characterized by praise and worship songs, thanking God for His great intervention in the completion of the building project which faced several challenges during the construction period.
The Bishop preached the message titled: “Blessed to Bless” from Genesis 12:1-3 and said in the same way that God blessed Abraham to become a blessing to others, the new church building at Lusaka West branch should be regarded as a blessing that will bring salvation and meet the needs of the vulnerable in the communities around.
“When God wants to bless a community He raises a church as a channel of blessings. God has blessed you with this building; He is not only thinking about you, but He has given you power and a responsibility to bless those who may depend on you in the community. The greatest blessing and gift you can give to the community around is salvation because when you have led them to Christ they will go to heaven, the Bishop said.
