People of Kanyama Township experienced a mighty out pouring of Gods power During the Three Days of Power conference, Gods Prophet Bishop Joe Imakando Declared the uncompromising word of God that positioned and empowered the people for the manifestation of abundance and amazing grace of the Lord in their Ministries, Marriages, Finances, Business and in every area of their lives.
The conference began from 22nd to 24th May, 2009. It was held at Kanyama mission church, a branch of BLCI planted about 5Km west of Lusaka city centre. Like any township in Zambia, Kanyama is regarded as a habitat for traditional healers, with the majority of the population living in abject poverty.

Kanyama mission church is a fast growing branch church of bread of life, with an estimated membership of 1500 people, headed by Pastor Teddy Mundia. The people received Bishop Imakando with so much honour and love. And upon introducing Bishop Imakando to the congregants, Pastor Mundia said: “We are very excited for our father, Bishop Imakando to step on the soil of Kanyama Township. We anticipate seeing a unique anointing of miracles. It’s a power changing conference. I have heard several testimonies from people after they have attended this type of a conference”. He said.

To God be the glory. Several people, through the ministry of God’s servant Bishop Joe Imakando, were delivered from spiritual anguish. This was evidenced by those, whom by the word of their testimonies said they were healed, some said they felt peace in their hearts and others said they were challenged after the word Bishop Imakando preached.

A lot of people received deliverance.  There was pandemonium in the auditorium at the end of each session by those whom demons were cast out, when Bishop Imakando earnestly prayed for them to be delivered.

“The Kanyama three days of power conference was very life-transforming”. Said Anthony, conference attendee, “I can now feel that I am delivered from what held my life back”.

In all, hundreds of them surrendered their lives to Christ. A record attendance of close to 2,000 people attended the conference. Altogether, couples from different churches were part of a couples’ workshop conducted by Pastor Luther Maseko in the afternoon, second day of the conference. Meanwhile, BLCI National Youth overseer, Pastor Oscar Mumba held a youth workshop. Both pastors were part of Bishop Imakando’s delegation. A business workshop was also conducted by a businessman and entrepreneur, Mr. Augustine Menyani on Sunday afternoon before Bishop Imakando wrapped up the conference in the evenings.

“I feel that Jesus has stopped at Kanyama church; he has heard your cries. You need to cry out to Him like blind Bartimeus, who told Jesus to show mercy on him”, Bishop Imakando said during one of the sermons.

Bishop Imakando continues, “Have faith that in this conference Jesus has heard you, and will turn your situation around. Ask him that you may receive a blessing, anointing and a miracle.

May you manifest from lack to more than enough. May God open doors for jobs, marriages, business, and answer you in Jesus’ name! Some of you, by tonight, God will turnaround things for you. After you have walked out of the conference, you will sleep like a baby” said Bishop Imakando. He continued as he began to speak in the word of knowledge, “There’s a Woman here, you have been barren for a long time, but God is putting laughter in your life. There’s another Woman, with an issue of blood, God is drying it up. Somebody has been suffering from sores in the nose, you have attempted different medications but nothing has happened. Today, God has healed you. Somebody here things have been haunting in your house, but tonight, it’s over. There’s a woman who has been married to spirit husbands, but tonight you are divorced. There’s a man here, you have tried so many types of soap to wash away a bad smell, tonight you are delivered,” Said Bishop Imakando.

Bishop Imakando, asked the congregation to make pledges according to their earnings for the purchase of a church car, which would be used to ease administrative operations for Pastor Mundia. And a good number of people responded and promised they would honour their pledges by the month end of May.
