Baptism Service

Written by
Bread of Life church International on Sunday 22nd May conducted a baptism service for about 68 believers who had undergone baptism classes. The Church puts a lot of emphasis on the foundation of a believer as it is the most crucial aspect of the Christian walk. The strength of everything lies on the type of foundation .

 (Above) Pastor Luther Maseko Preaching
 (above) Elders baptising believers
The service was led by Pastor Luther Maseko who was assisted by Elders in conducting the baptism Pastor preached a sermon entitled “Paul’s passion for Christ” from Acts 20vs 22-24
Paul had a passion for the cross nothing could stop him from doing what he desired to for God. People with a passion can not be moved by challenges.
Paul had a lot of challenges and difficulties yet he stuck to his assignments, he was stoned, whipped and imprisoned yet he forged ahead .The early Church was committed to the work of God the faced trails and persecutions but held their own.
Pastor Maseko encouraged the newly baptised believers to hold on to Christ.” Going through the waters of Baptism is displaying to the world that you have died with Christ and resurrected in him. The enemy will not sit back after this he will attack you, what will make you stand is your passion for God
. You need a passion for prayer
A stranger to prayer is a stranger to power.
. The passion for the Word of God
Desire to study and meditate on the word of God will help you grow in
the faith.
. desire to live a Holy life
Share The Gospel, Evangelise to others
When you apply these in your life you will overcome and do mighty exploits for God.
He later prayed for all who were baptised .

Baby Dedication Sunday

Written by
During the Sunday services on 14th December 2008, Bishop Imakando called for people who had babies in church to bring them to the pulpit so that the congregation could pray for them. Bishop said, the occasion did not reflect giving salvation to the babies, but a time to bring them to the Lord for thanks giving and asking for God’ s protection upon them. Bishop blessed the babies so that they will grow as men and women of substance. He prophesied in their lives to become great people, some to be engineers, astronauts and presidents.
