About two thousand years ago, Jesus’ life was laid down for all humanity, the death, burial and resurrection became what we now celebrate as Easter.

Friday 14th April, 2017 representing the remembrance of Jesus’ death was graced by the preaching by a man of God, redeemed from the kingdom of darkness to God’s kingdom Prophet Isa Elbuba.

Like paul, prophet Elbuba had a personal encounter with the resurrected messiah which saw his life change for the better. He was transformed from a radical Islamic jihadist to a prophet of the most-high God.

Taking the congregants on their knees in a cry for help and repentance for every sin committed, Prophet Elbuba called out to the risen Jesus who has power to break the chains of death.

Accompanied by prophetic praise and worship, prayers in other tongues and applause for the risen king, Prophet Elbuba drew his message from the book of Numbers 32:27.

The prophet spoke about three truths that a child of God must be willing to do if they are to enjoy the significance of Easter which has accorded believers the opportunity to be heirs of the kingdom. These include; seeking the hand of God, Hungering for God and being humble.

The Easter Explosion Conference was held  at the blessing center in Lusaka with the theme encounter your divine lifting in your relationship, employment, business, ministry etc.

"Mary, Did You Know?"

Mary, did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will calm the storm with his hand?
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God.

Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know?..
Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know?..

The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb!

Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
That sleeping child you're holding is the great I am.

Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know? Mary, did you know?..
Mary, did you know?

Bread of Life Church International (BLCI) District one women of integrity were on Saturday 19th November, 2016 giving hampers to patients admitted to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka.

The Coordinator Mrs Ruth Mwalusaka said the district had done a lot of activities in the past but lacked the element of hospital visitation.

She said district one which constitutes the southern part of Lusaka adopted UTH children’s ward AO7 and female cancer hospital since the year 2014.

“We visit the hospital once every year since 2014 and we chose AO7 children’s ward because children mean a lot to God. Jesus loved children as seen in Matthew 19:14. Children generally bring joy in our homes,” she said.

Mrs Mwalusaka added that most women at the cancer hospital come from far remote places and have no relatives to carter for their basic needs.

“These women are helpless and distressed, they need a brother or a sister to give them support. When they are referred to UTH they are basically by themselves with no one to give them hope, love and care,” she said.

And Jessica Banda, (26) of Kanyama compound in Lusaka who is nursing her 3year old daughter Emeldah Mulima thanked Bread of life church women for their remarkable kindness rendered to her and her daughter and the children’s ward at large.

“Most of us here have been admitted for several weeks and we are poor, we lack food and groceries. We are overwhelmed by what Bread of life women have done and we appreciate you for lending a helping hand and for praying for us and our children,” Ms Banda said.

Speaking on behalf of the women at the cancer hospital, Mirriam Chisanga (39) of Mufulira, Copperbelt province and Delilah Lyebeti (57) OF Choma, southern province also thanked BLCI women for their generosity.

“We are grateful for what BLCI women have done for us. Many churches do hospital visitation but few offer material support like you have brought for us. This is enormous and we will live to testify of what God has done through you. We feel remembered, loved and cared for,” they said.

And Mrs Mwalusaka urged churches and other Christian organizations to take up hospital visitation as part of their social responsibility so that the burden on the patients is lessened.
