Genesis 13:5-10

Life is full of choices. Every day we are challenged to make them. Choices as when to wake up...what to eat...or how we’re going to spend the day. When we go to town, there’re several newspapers we choose to read from. When we switch on radio there are so many stations we choose to tune to. Even on television there are so many commercial adverts that clamor for our attention so that we can choose from them what we consider is the best offer.

Though life is full of choices, God knows what’s good for you. For example, He knows where you will marry or work. Every time you make a decision consult with God in prayer. And always bear in mind that choices can either build or break you. Lot’s choice of what looked like a fertile land ruined him. Esther and Mary [the mother of Jesus] chose to remain virgins. And God came through to them.
